The science which studies substance is called chemistry. It was born out of alchemy, an old science that sought, among other things, to find the elixir of life and do gold of iron. The main purpose of the modern chemists is to scrutinize the reactions which are happening on the molecular level and get known more about the processes happen between different substances. What is more, chemistry as a science is associated with proposing a description for the forenamed processes in the form of a law. Chemistry, biology and physics are the sciences which have a lot of joint purposes. Inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry analytical chemistry, physical and biological chemistry are the parts of general definition “Chemistry”.
Organic chemistry is named organic because it was believed that organic compounds had a lot to do with life. Nevertheless, this was a misconception. Organic elements may be developed in ways that do not related to life or living objects. Some inorganic components as cooper or iron, for instance, play the main role in the in the processes of living objects. Organic chemistry deals mainly with chemical combinations that comprise carbon and hydrogen. Owing to it year by year the humanity get known more and more about it and this knowledge is quite useful. A huge amount of various products that we utilize in everyday life has been created with help of organic elements. The sphere of chemistry that studies the combinations of both organic and inorganic elements is called analytical chemistry. It describes the geometric properties of atoms that helps to understand the processes better. It studies the components given, their combination and properties. Analytical chemistry is experimental in live nature and in that way it is similar to physical chemistry. It is based on the experiments and the results are quite helpful for providing the safety of the environmental and saving the natural resources. |
